Class Descriptions
All of our classes are open to everyone of all levels, and modifications and breaks are always welcome. Consistency is one of our values at Elements Hot Yoga, however it’s also important to note that every teacher and every student is different! Land on your mat with an open mind and see what you get to experience in your practice today.
POWER
Our most popular and physically challenging style of class, Power is a variation on the style of yoga called Vinyasa. Vinyasa synchronizes breath with movement through sequencing often called “flow”. Each class will vary as creativity is a core component of this type of offering, however you can always expect some Sun Salutations, core work, a bumpin’ playlist and a challenging, vigorous practice. Testing yourself physically and mentally, prepare to sweat your way into that flow state!

HATHA FUSION
Hatha is a challenging practice that teaches you to stay and breathe. A combination of a traditional 26&2 set with creative Power, this class is a wellness supercharger! Each Fusion class will feature most of the 26&2 poses and take you through a similar sequence every time, creating ample opportunities to notice progress and subtle changes day to day. This practice is also shoulder and wrist friendly with limited downdogs and chaturanga’s (high to low planks), emphasizing static holds rather than flow. Discover your resilience and endurance with us in Hatha Fusion.

NEW - MINDFUL FLOW
A more moderately paced class, Mindful Flow is designed for both beginners and advanced practitioners alike. During this class you’ll move at a slower pace with lots of options to modify or uplevel your practice, giving you the autonomy to be intuitive with your needs for the day. Classes will have an emphasis on creativity of sequencing as well as foundational concepts, providing space for you and your teacher to workshop postures and explore advanced yogic themes. With a bit less heat and humidity than our other heated classes, explore the deeper offerings of yoga and enrich your ever-evolving journey into your own personal practice.

VINYIN
This practice blends two popular styles of yoga, Vinyasa and Yin, and is a fantastic option for everyone seeking equanimity. Flow through a warming Vinyasa sequence for 45-50 minutes before transitioning to 25-30 minutes of cooling, meditative, long held postures. Not as fast or intense as our Power classes, this is a great flow option if you’re also wanting more time to luxuriate and explore not just the big muscle groups of your body but the facia and connective tissues as well. This practice is a great opportunity to balance the Yang of your effort with the Yin of release.

YIN
Learn to be with your body, your practice and your own inner wisdom through the sometimes challenging call to be still in both body and mind. Our Yin classes focus on static postures, generally held passively at a sustainable threshold for 2-5 minutes. This offering creates a calm, meditative environment in which you are invited to safely explore the nerves, ligaments, tendons & fascia of the body, accompanied by mindfulness practices to facilitate mental & emotional resilience. A variety of props are available to support your practice, allowing you to match the intensity level to your own unique needs in every posture. This practice is perfect for those looking to decompress, destress and experience the mental clarity of slowing down
